Filipino Teen Youngest Delegate At DNC

David Gilbert-Pederson, 17, is the youngest delegate to the Democratic National Convention.  Gilbert-Pederson like Barack Obama is a child of a racially diverse background.  Both of his parents are Filipino and he has been raised by his white adoptive parents in south Minneapolis. Gilbert-Pederson is eligible to be a delegate because he turns 18 before Election Day.
